The wrap up – Adtraction at PI Live
Adtraction sponsors PI Live’s biggest ever conference.
Colleagues from our Swedish, Norwegian, German and Dutch offices joined our UK team in London for the PI Live conference on 22 and 23 October. Held over two days this was the first year that Adtraction sponsored PI Live. And it was a great event!
PI Live is one of Europe’s largest conferences dedicated to affiliate, influencer and performance marketing. This year the event saw over 3,000 delegates attend. Adtraction proudly sponsored the Beer Garden, a dedicated meeting zone which welcomed everyone!
Hundreds of meetings took place over the two days in the Adtraction Beer Garden! We also hosted two dedicated networking sessions; helping delegates to make new contacts.
Supporting new voices was a key theme from the conference this year, with new speakers presenting for the first time. On day one the conference hosted the second Digital Disruptors Final. Set up last year, these young digital entrepreneurs are supported throughout the year by the Digital Disruptors project before presenting their final projects in a bid to win the McShane Young Digital Disruptor Award. And on day two the 'Insider Insights' session introduced five new speakers from agency, brand, publisher and network backgrounds who all delivered short case studies on the main stage.
To close the conference Adtraction’s very own UK Managing Partner, Anthony Clements took to the stage in a ‘Performance Punch’, a head-to-head debate against Groupon’s GM for Coupons International, Clare Gore. They had a lively and thought-provoking debate on whether affiliate marketing should be more ‘plug and play’.
