Adtraction product data specification

Use this specification to format your product information for your Adtraction partner program. Submitting your product data to Adtraction in the correct format is important for allowing your partners to market your products in the best way.

If you already have a product data file available that conforms with the Google Shopping format, this will in most cases also work with Adtraction.

Basic requirements

Format: Adtraction can import most types of text files, such as XML, CSV or TXT. We do not support files in Microsoft Excel XLS format or other non-text formats.
Location: Adtraction requires a static FTP or HTTPS address from which your data file can be downloaded. The URL or file name must be static, ie do not include dates or similar.
Encoding: It is highly recommended that your file is UTF-8 encoded.
Product variations: (size, colour, etc) should be listed as separate products with unique names and IDs.

Field specification

The product information you submit using these attributes is our foundation for allowing partners to market your products. Make sure everything you submit is of the quality you'd show to a customer.
