Haglöfs is a Swedish outdoor performance brand with roots dating back to 1914, when carpenter Wiktor Haglöf created a backpack designed to withstand journeys across the country in all kinds of conditions. Since then, the product range has grown, and today Haglöfs offers clothing, footwear, and equipment for outdoor adventures.

The brand originates from Sweden, a country known for its extreme weather and vast landscapes, where nature is an integral part of the culture. Haglöfs aims to equip people for their own outdoor experiences, whether it’s a walk in the forest or a climb to a mountain peak. The idea behind the brand is that everyone should be able to experience nature, regardless of the weather. Under the concept “Outsiders by Nature,” Haglöfs encourages its community to step outside their comfort zones.

Sustainability

Haglöfs approaches sustainability through three key areas: People, Planet, and Products. This covers everything from the people who make the products and the resources used, to how products are designed, manufactured, and kept in use for longer. Since 2020, the company has been committed to reducing its emissions by 50% by 2030.
