Performance-based marketing, also known as results-driven marketing, is a strategy where businesses pay for the actual outcomes of their marketing efforts, rather than for a set amount of ads or impressions. This means the business only pays for measurable results, such as when a customer clicks an ad, signs up for a mailing list, or completes a purchase.
Some of the most common models for performance-based marketing include Pay-per-Click (PPC), Cost-per-Acquisition (CPA), and Cost-per-Lead (CPL).
