Adtraction

Adtraction is a marketing platform that helps brands across Europe increase sales at a predictable cost, by matching them with partners that provide content, traffic, and sales in exchange for commissions.

Adtraction’s platform connects brands looking to increase their sales with various types of partners (affiliates). Here’s how it works:

  1. A brand joins Adtraction’s platform and gets access to a wide range of partners.
  2. Partners promote the brand’s products or services using ad links.
  3. A visitor clicks on an ad link and makes a purchase on the brand’s website, which Adtraction tracks.
  4. The brand pays a commission per sale, via Adtraction, to the partner responsible for driving the sale. This can be either a fixed amount or a percentage of the order value.

Adtraction handles the tech, payments, and support, and assists brands in building and managing relationships with partners.

Adtraction is always free for partners (affiliates) to use.

 

For brands, the cost consists of a percentage of the commission paid to partners through Adtraction’s platform. Adtraction charges no fixed fees, such as onboarding or licensing fees.

Adtraction has local offices in 12 countries across Europe. The headquarters is located in Stockholm.

Partners

Almost anyone can become a partner with Adtraction, as long as certain requirements are met. By collaborating with our brands and promoting their products or services, you can earn a commission when someone makes a purchase through your links. Typically, you’ll need a website, blog, or social media account with an engaged audience to share links and ads effectively. Requirements may vary by market.

To connect your website, blog or social media profile to Adtraction, follow these simple steps:

 

  1. Register a free account on Adtraction.com.
  2. Add your website or blog as a channel in your account.
  3. Wait for approval from Adtraction. We manually review all channels to ensure they meet our requirements.
  4. Once your channel is approved, you can apply to the brands you’re interested in and start earning money from your traffic.

Earnings can vary greatly from case to case, ranging from a few euros to several thousand euros per month. 

Factors that influence your earnings include:

 

  1. Traffic: The more traffic your channel has, the greater the chance of generating clicks and sales through your ads or links.
  2. Relevance: Ads relevant to your content and audience are more likely to result in clicks and purchases.
  3. Commission: Different brands offer different amounts per referred purchase.
  4. Conversion rate: Channels with a high conversion rate - meaning a higher percentage of visitors completing purchases - can earn more.

Almost anyone can become a partner at Adtraction. However, there are certain types of content we do not approve:

 

  1. Inappropriate content, such as politics, religion, erotica, or gambling.
  2. Incomplete content or unfinished websites.
  3. Unprofessional web design.
  4. Social media accounts with a limited audience.

No, you do not need to own a business to become a partner at Adtraction. We welcome both individuals and businesses.

Brands

Yes, you can use Adtraction to promote both products and services. Adtraction collaborates with brands across a wide range of industries and categories, including fashion, technology, travel, health, and more.

 

Whether you sell physical products, digital products, or services, Adtraction helps you find suitable partners to reach your target audience and increase sales.

Technology

A tracking link is a unique URL used to track clicks and sales referred by a partner. The link contains a unique ID that allows Adtraction to identify the partner associated with the link.

 

When a user clicks on a tracking link, the unique ID is stored in a cookie on the user’s device. This cookie tracks any purchases made and assigns the commission to the partner who referred the visitor. The cookie does not contain personal information and is active only for a predetermined period.

Yes, Adtraction offers an API that you can use to retrieve data and integrate it with your own systems and tools. With Adtraction’s API, you can access reports, tracking links, and other relevant information to facilitate and automate your marketing.

 

To access the API, you’ll need a unique key, which you can find under “Settings” in your Adtraction account.

This means the business only pays for measurable results, such as when a customer clicks an ad, signs up for a mailing list, or completes a purchase.
