Rules and guidelines for subnetworks

Subnetworks are a collection of users operating as a single partner on the Adtraction platform. Subnetworks join the Adtraction platform as a regular partner would, whereas a sub-partner signs up to join the subnetwork instead.

Subnetworks can join the Adtraction platform under the following conditions:

  • Subnetwork partners must separate their content-driven activities from other activities. A minimum of two channels are therefore needed if the subnetwork works with content and non-content sub-partners. Further, if a subnetwork works with sub-users that offer a toolbar or browser extension to their customers, a new channel specifically for the toolbar activities must be created. Example:

Channel name

Description

Subnetwork ABC

Content-based activities only

Subnetwork ABC incentives

Incentives-based activities such as cashback

Subnetwork ABC vouchers

Vouchers and discounts

Subnetwork ABC toolbars

Toolbars and browser extensions

  • Subnetwork partners must allocate each sub-user a unique ID and make this available via the EPI click parameter. Subsequent click references (EPI2, EPI3, etc) can be used for any additional information the subnetwork needs for internal references.

  • If the unique IDs are not directly identifiable, the list of the unique IDs and their corresponding sub-users URL is to be made available upon request. Alternatively, access to sub-network's dashboard has to be provided, either to the advertisers whom the subnetwork works with and/or to the Adtraction account manager(s).

  • Subnetwork partners must be able to blacklist any sub-users upon request of Adtraction. They must also be able to guarantee the quality of the sub-users promoting Adtraction advertisers. Any sub-user that are not compliant with the Adtraction partner agreement, as well as advertiser's program restrictions, must not be allowed to gain access to Adtraction advertisers.
